AC Milan planning surprise move for Chelsea graduate?
AC Milan are plotting an approach for Chelsea striker Armando Broja ahead of the January transfer window.
The Rossoneri are reportedly planning for the future, and want a young striker to lead their line next season.
Olivier Giroud is no longer in his prime while Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been touted to retire next summer.
According to Calciomercato, Broja has now been identified as the main target, and Milan could make an offer as early as January.
The Rossoneri want their new marksman to get sufficient time to adapt to Serie A, and prefer to sign him well ahead of next season.
Broja only recently signed a fresh six-year contract with the Blues, but this has not stopped the ongoing speculation regarding his future.
The Albanian has yet to make a Premier League start for the west London giants, but his situation could change under new boss Graham Potter.
The Blues don't seem keen on losing Broja, but they could be persuaded to do business if Milan are willing to swap him for top target Rafael Leao.
