Chelsea ready to swoop for Villarreal winger

Chelsea reportedly have their sights on landing Villarreal winger Arnaut Danjuma during the winter transfer window.

The Blues bolstered their attack with Raheem Sterling and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang over the summer, but they continue to lack the firepower.

Graham Potter is keen on adding more reinforcements in January and football.london cite that the Blues are lining up a move for Danjuma.

Danjuma joined Villarreal from Bournemouth last season and he was a revelation for the club with 16 goals and four assists from 34 outings.

He has continued the good form with three goals from eight games this term and the Blues are now weighing up a winter approach for his services.

Danjuma, who was valued at £31 million over the summer, is also on the radar of AC Milan and Newcastle United ahead of the New Year.

Villarreal may look to capitalise on the widespread interest by increasing their price tag. Danjuma has also been linked with Arsenal and West Ham.
