Predicted Man Utd line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Sheriff, Ronaldo starts
Manchester United will be aiming to return to winning ways when they entertain Sheriff in the Europa League tonight.
The Red Devils are three points behind leaders Real Sociedad in their Europa League group and need a victory to stay in the race for the top spot.
Predicted Line-up:
David de Gea has played every minute of the campaign in goal for United and that is unlikely to change today. The Spaniard could be rested for the Carabao Cup tie next month.
One change is expected in the backline from the weekend. With Raphael Varane out with a hamstring injury, Victor Lindelof should partner Lisandro Martinez in central defence.
Diogo Dalot and Luke Shaw should be undisputed choices for the Red Devils in the full-back positions ahead of Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Tyrell Malacia respectively.
Casemiro has been a consistent starter in all competitions since the Manchester derby. With a win required tonight, the Brazilian should get the nod for the defensive midfield spot.
Christian Eriksen should continue as the creative central midfielder. The Dane was present in yesterday's press conference which obviously confirms that he will be in the starting XI.
In attack, one change could be on the cards. Jadon Sancho may drop to the bench. Marcus Rashford should come into his place on the left wing such that Cristiano Ronaldo can lead the line.
Ronaldo is back after his suspension and should start for the fifth Europa League game running. Bruno Fernandes and Antony are expected to feature in the number 10 and right wing roles.
Predicted Man Utd line-up (4-2-3-1): De Gea; Dalot, Lindelof, Varane, Shaw; Casemiro, Eriksen; Antony, Fernandes, Rashford; Ronaldo.
