Chelsea target Declan Rice open to Liverpool transfer
West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice has opened the door to join Liverpool during the summer transfer window.
The England international has spent his entire playing career with the Hammers, but he is eyeing a bigger challenge soon.
Rice has said that he wants to play in the Champions League and win big trophies and it is now claimed that Liverpool are looking at him.
According to Dean Jones, the Merseyside giants want a marquee midfielder next summer and Rice is one of the top names on their radar.
The midfielder will enter the final two years of his West Ham deal in July 2023, and it is claimed that he could be sold for £70 million.
Chelsea are obviously favourites to sign Rice, who started in their academy but the midfielder has not ruled out a move to Jurgen Klopp's side.
The history and recent success of Liverpool means that Rice would be open to joining them if Chelsea are reluctant to make a serious move.
