Chelsea suffer double injury blow against Man City
Chelsea have suffered a double injury blow with Raheem Sterling and Christian Pulisic being sidelined.
Sterling was substituted within a few minutes of the Premier League clash against Manchester City last night with a hamstring injury.
The England international is expected to undergo a medical assessment soon, but reports claim that he could be out of action for some time.
Meanwhile, Pulisic followed Sterling to the bench with a fitness issue, but it has been claimed that he may have only suffered a knock.
Chelsea are already short in the striking department at the moment with Armando Broja ruled out for the season with a knee injury.
The absence of Sterling is a big blow and this could force the club to enter the transfer market for another forward in the coming days.
Shakhtar Donetsk's Mykhaylo Mudryk is said to be an option for the Blues but the winger could cost a hefty fee of around £88 million.
Mudryk is currently said to be focused on joining Arsenal.
