West Ham linked with a loan move for En-Nesyri

Moroccan forward on the radar of West Ham

West Ham are on expected to make a loan transfer move for Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesryi this month, with the Moroccan international informed that he will be allowed to leave the La Liga side for a six month period. The Hammers are reportedly ready to bolster their attack with a move for the forward, who starred in the Morocco World Cup campaign that saw his country reach the semi-finals.

Manager David Moyes wants to add further options to his attack for the second half of the season, and the prospect of adding a new face immediately appeals to the Scotsman. It is understood the Irons will pay the entirety of the player's salary for the duration of the loan.

West Ham's defender Nayef Aguerd recommended a move to London to his international team mate, and the 25-year-old striker is said to be keen. En-Nesyri played in all seven of the games during the World Cup 2022 in Qatar for Morocco.

The 6 foot 2 striker previously played for Malaga and Leganes before making a move to Sevilla in 2020. He has scored 27 La Liga goals in 90 games for his current club.
