Newcastle United want to sign three Chelsea players
Newcastle United are interested in signing three Chelsea players during the ongoing transfer window, according to The Telegraph.
The Magpies have had a terrific Premier League campaign thus far and they are currently third in the standings with 38 points.
They have a genuine chance of qualifying for the Champions League and the owners are ready to back manager Eddie Howe with funds.
The focus is on experienced Premier League players and The Telegraph cite that the Magpies could look to sign Chelsea's trio.
Conor Gallagher and Ruben Loftus-Cheek have been identified as options to bolster their midfield department this month.
Meanwhile, Hakim Ziyech has been identified as an option to strengthen their attack. The Moroccan is eager to leave Chelsea.
It remains to be seen whether the Magpies can sign any of them as the Blues may not want to strengthen their top-four bid.
Chelsea are currently 10 points behind the Magpies, but they will be hoping to catch up with them in the coming months.
