Tammy Abraham news

Abraham to Manchester United?

Manchester United are closely watching Roma striker Tammy Abraham, according to La Repubblica.

The Red Devils are expected to purchase a marquee striker this summer and they are looking at different options.

Napoli star Victor Osimhen is the top name on their radar but Abraham has also been linked over recent weeks.

It is now reported that United scouts were in attendance to watch Abraham during Roma's win over Real Sociedad.

Abraham provided an assist during the 2-0 win in the Europa League and United plan to continue to monitor him.

The Englishman was superb in his debut campaign for Roma, scoring 27 goals and providing five assists in 53 games.

He has failed to hit those heights this term with just seven goals and six assists from 36 appearances for the Serie A side.

Hence, United's interest is somewhat surprising. Roma are unlikely to sell him for cheap in the next transfer window.

They bought him from Chelsea for €40m in 2021 and may look for at least €60m to sanction his sale this summer.
