Liverpool make transfer decision on Diogo Jota
Liverpool don't intend to part ways with Diogo Jota during this summer's transfer window.
The Portuguese had a superb 2021/22 campaign with the Reds, bagging 21 goals and eight assists from 55 appearances.
However, he has failed to replicate the performances this term. He has just six assists in 16 games and has yet to score.
Injuries have contributed to his drastic dip in form, but the Reds have no plans of losing him in the next transfer window.
At the moment, Mohamed Salah, Cody Gakpo and Darwin Nunez are ahead of him in the pecking order for a starting spot in attack.
Jota has been used off the bench on occasions, but he could struggle for minutes when Luis Diaz returns from his injury.
Irrespective of this situation, Liverpool don't want to lose Jota this summer and they are ready to reject any proposals for him.
Liverpool are currently sixth in the Premier League, six points behind fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur with a game in hand.
