Arsenal duo ruled out with injuries for Southampton game
Arsenal duo William Saliba and Oleksandr Zinchenko have been ruled out of the Premier League clash against Southampton.
The Gunners have dropped points in the last two league games against Liverpool and West Ham United with 2-2 draws.
They will be desperate to return to winning ways on Friday but ahead of the game, there has been no positive update on the injury front.
Saliba has been away for the past month with a back problem and Mikel Arteta has revealed that the Frenchman is still struggling to overcome it.
Meanwhile, Zinchenko has been sidelined with a muscular problem and he won't be available for the Saints' visit of the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal are currently four points ahead of Manchester City at the top of the table but Pep Guardiola's side have one match in hand.
City will be in FA Cup semi-final action this weekend and the Gunners have an excellent opportunity to go seven points clear tomorrow.
