Chelsea to make summer move for ex-Liverpool star?

Chelsea could make a summer approach to sign Bayern Munich attacker Sadio Mane, as per Football Insider.

The west London giants have spent huge loads of money over the past year and the spending spree could continue this summer.

They already have a deal in place for Christopher Nkunku but reports claim that they could also attempt to land Mane from Bayern.

The Senegal star had a positive start to his Bayern career but suffered an injury setback in the lead-up to the World Cup last year.

Since his return, he has struggled form and consistency. The former Liverpool man has been in and out of the starting line-up.

This has led to speculation that he could push for a fresh challenge and it is claimed that Chelsea could lure him back to the Premier League.

Incoming Blues boss Mauricio Pochettino has already given the green light for the transfer. The club could open talks with Bayern soon.
