Man Utd quoted fee to sign James Maddison

Manchester United will reportedly have to pay £50 million to sign Leicester City midfielder James Maddison this summer.

The Foxes have had a dreadful season in the Premier League and they are currently facing the threat of relegation.

Despite this, Maddison has had another fine campaign. He has nine goals and eight assists from 26 league appearances.

It is now reported by The Mirror that Maddison is expected to leave the Foxes this summer regardless of their league status.

The England international has made the decision to move on from the Midlands outfit. His deal expires in June next year.

Manchester United, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur are interested but won't get him on the cheap this summer.

The Foxes are expected to hold out for around £50 million for the midfielder but could lower the initial fee with easy add-ons.

Maddison is also attracting interest from several clubs abroad but he has a clear mindset to continue in the Premier League next season.
