Chelsea make final decision on Denis Zakaria
Chelsea have opted against pursuing a permanent deal for Juventus midfielder Denis Zakaria this summer.
The Switzerland international joined the Blues on loan from Juventus last summer but barely played until the World Cup.
He saw more playing time at the beginning of the year but ended the campaign with just 11 appearances for the club.
The Blues have the option to buy him for €30m this summer but Fabrizio Romano reports that they won't exercise the clause.
Zakaria will now return to the Bianconeri and there is a high possibility that he could be offloaded during the next transfer window.
The Serie A giants have failed to qualify for the Champions League and they are expected to sell most of their high earners.
Apart from Zakaria, Dusan Vlahovic, Adrien Rabiot and Angel di Maria could head for the exit door in the coming weeks.
Rabiot and Di Maria have their contracts expiring on June 30. The former has been fancied to join Manchester United.
