Chelsea loanee on his way to Newcastle United?

Chelsea loanee Joao Felix could make the move to Newcastle United in the summer transfer window, according to Sport.

The Portugal international joined the Blues on loan from Atletico Madrid in January and he managed four goals from 20 outings.

New Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino has decided against pursuing a permanent deal but Felix could return to England.

The Magpies were interested in landing the 23-year-old last winter but the attacker was not tempted by their transfer proposal.

However, the scenario has now changed. Eddie Howe's side have returned to the Champions League after over two decades.

The prospect of playing in the elite competition could urge Felix to move to Tyneside. He could be signed on an initial loan deal.

The Magpies are planning for a huge summer of spending and they are also keen on landing Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.

Osimhen had an excellent season with 30 goals to his name. Napoli are prepared to sell him for a fee of around £130 million.
