Arsenal open the door to selling 26yo defender
Arsenal have opened the door to selling left-back Kieran Tierney before the transfer closes on September 1.
The Scotland international has been with the Gunners for the past four seasons, but he could leave the club soon.
Tierney was left out of the matchday squad to face Nottingham Forest, and the Gunners are now expecting offers for him.
As things stand, only Real Sociedad have made a proposal to sign the 26-year-old. They have enquired over a season-long loan deal.
The Gunners have no plans of accepting their request and they are waiting for better offers on the table in the coming days.
Newcastle United and West Ham United are among clubs that could make late approaches to purchase the former Celtic man.
The Magpies have been monitoring his situation since the beginning of the year with manager Eddie Howe being an admirer.
Arsenal are expected to demand at least £30 million for Tierney. He is in the prime of his career and won't leave on the cheap.
