Edu Gaspar provides Arsenal update before deadline day
Arsenal sporting director Edu Gaspar has hinted that the Gunners may not make anymore signings before the transfer deadline.
The north London giants had a strong spending spree in pre-season where they signed Jurrien Timber, Declan Rice and Kai Havertz.
This was followed up by the purchase of David Raya. Edu has now revealed that the club are satisfied with their transfer business.
He said: "We keep talking to a few clubs, but so far, we are really happy with the transfer window & we have to say thank you very much to all the people that work at the club to make that happen - good, exciting season ahead for us!"
The Gunners sustained a huge setback at the start of the month as Timber suffered a serious knee injury against Nottingham Forest.
The Dutchman, who can play anywhere in defence, won't be available for six months, but the club are not looking to fill the void.
They have been links with several defenders including Kyle Walker-Peters, but Arsenal don't intend to make any panic purchases.
