Fabrizio Romano on Chelsea's stance on Aaron Ramsdale
Chelsea are not actively looking to sign Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale ahead of the January transfer window, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Englishman was the Gunners' number one choice in goal for two years until losing his place to David Raya earlier this season.
Ramsdale has since only played in the Carabao Cup games, and there are big question marks over his future ahead of the New Year.
Chelsea have been linked with him over recent weeks, but Romano has clarified that they are not looking to make an approach.
The Blues had an overhaul of their goalkeeping department last summer where they sold Edouard Mendy and loaned out Kepa Arrizabalaga.
They brought in Robert Sanchez and Djordje Petrovic in their places and the former has been the undisputed choice in the Premier League.
Sanchez has been error-prone with his distribution from the back, but the Blues are likely to give him time until next summer to prove himself.
