Injured Arsenal star back in team training ahead of Brentford game

Odegaard fit to face Brentford

Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard has returned to full training ahead of the Premier League trip to west London to face Brentford this weekend.

The Norwegian has been nursing a back injury for a while and he has played just 10 minutes for the Gunners over the past month.

He has, however, recovered in time for the season restart and is anticipated to make the matchday squad against the Bees on Saturday.

Odegaard has been spotted in full training in the lead up to the derby and he could get the nod in the starting line-up for the game.

His return is a huge boost for the north London giants, considering Kai Havertz has failed to make any impact from the number 10 role.

Fabio Vieira is suspended after his sending off recently while Emile Smith Rowe is currently on the sidelines with a knee injury.

The Gunners are currently third in the Premier League standings, but are just one point behind Manchester City, who are top.
