Aaron Ramsdale set to start in goal versus Brentford
Arsenal's second choice goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale is expected to start when the Gunners entertain Brentford at the Emirates Stadium.
The England international was the club's undisputed keeper for two seasons, but he lost his place after the arrival of David Raya from the Bees last summer.
The Spaniard has been brilliant with nine clean sheets in the top-flight, but he will be ineligible to face Thomas Frank's side on Saturday evening.
Raya only joined the Gunners on an initial loan deal from the Bees. As part of the agreement, he won't be able to face his parent club this weekend.
Hence, Ramsdale is expected to be reinstated in goal for the first time in the league since the reverse fixture at the Gtech Community Stadium.
Back then, Ramsdale made a couple of high profile errors, but his blushes were saved by goalline clearances from Declan Rice and Oleksandr Zinchenko.
Kai Havertz scored a late winner against the Bees on the road. The fans will be hoping for a more comfortable victory at the Emirates this time.
