Confirmed Liverpool line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Man City, Diogo Jota dropped
Liverpool manager Arne Slot has made one change to the starting line-up for the Premier League clash against Manchester City today.
The Reds are eight points ahead of second-placed Arsenal following the Gunners' shock 1-0 loss to West Ham United at the Emirates Stadium.
They have the chance to extend the gap against the Cityzens. The Reds will be aiming for an away league win at the Etihad for the first time in 10 years.
Ahead of the game, Slot has made a solitary change from the Aston Villa draw.
Alisson Becker continues in goal as usual. Trent Alexander-Arnold, Ibrahima Konate, Virgil van Dijk and Andy Robertson make up the defence.
Similarly, there are no changes in midfield. Alexis Mac Allister and Ryan Gravenberch will form the central midfield with Dominik Szoboszlai operating from the number 10 role.
Mohamed Salah continues on the right wing with Curtis Jones on the left. The only change comes in the no.9 role. Luis Diaz has been preferred over Diogo Jota to lead the club's attack.
Confirmed Liverpool line-up (4-2-3-1): Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Mac Allister, Gravenberch; Salah, Szoboszlai, Jones; Diaz.
