Tottenham discuss move for Adebayor
Tottenham are in advanced negotiations with Man City regarding a potential transfer for Togo and former Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor, according to a Spanish fan site.
Adebayor spent last season on loan at Real Madrid, and whilst Jose Mourinho would like to keep the player at the club; he has been put off by the reported £15 million price tag for the striker.
Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is on the look out for a new striker and Adebayor is apparently top of his list.
Adebayor has not hidden his desire to return to the Premiership and Tottenham; in a recent interview he quipped, "I would join Tottenham, I would go there and anybody would be interested."
