Tottenham like Giuseppe Rossi

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has admitted he is interested in Italian forward Giuseppe Rossi; currently playing for Villarreal. The former Man Utd player had also been linked with Barcelona.

However, it seems that Barcelona have missed out on his signature and now Tottenham have admitted an interest.

"I think Rossi is top drawer. He's a clever player, he gets it into feet, holds the ball up and scores goals. He's the Italian centre forward now," said Redknapp.

"We tried to get him last year - I think the fee was around £18million. It looks cheap now."
