Arsenal scout AZ sensation

Arsenal are reported to have kept a close eye on AZ Alkmaar striker Vincent Janssen ahead of a summer approach for his signature.

The 21-year-old has not put a foot wrong ever since his move to AZ from Almere City last summer.

A report from The Telegraph suggests that the North Londoners have been scouting the young marksman in recent months with manager Arsene Wenger eager to bolster his striking options for next season.

The Dutchman, who is compared to former great Ruud van Nistelrooy, has caught the eye of several European clubs due to his pace, creativity and foremost, his ability to score with either foot.

Janssen has netted an impressive tally of 26 goals in the Dutch league this season.
