Ben Arfa tipped to join Barcelona

France international Hatem Ben Arfa has emerged as the top target for Barcelona ahead of the summer transfer window. The Nice attacker has been in splendid form in Ligue 1 and this has attracted interest from a host of European clubs.

Ben Arfa, 29, is in the penultimate month of his contract at Nice, and signs are he will seek a fresh challenge at the end of the season.

The likes of AC Milan and Liverpool have been recently linked with Ben Arfa, but according to L'Equipe, the Catalan giants look likely to steal the chase.

Barca have also expressed interest in fellow Frenchmen Kevin Gameiro and Alexandre Lacazette.

Ben Arfa has notched 18 goals in all competitions for Nice this term.
