Arsenal want Real Madrid pair as Sanchez, Bellerin replacements
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is lining up moves for Real Madrid duo Danilo and Karim Benzema who could replace Hector Bellerin and Alexis Sanchez respectively next season.
The north London giants have endured yet another average season this term, and this appears to have cost them in the pursuit of Champions League football.
According to The Star, via Don Balon, the FA Cup finalists are planning bids for Danilo and Benzema with Wenger planning a major overhaul of his squad in the summer.
Star performer Sanchez has handled the goalscoring burden for most of the campaign, but the Gunners could find it hard to keep hold of his services next season with his contract due to expire in 2018.
Meanwhile, Bellerin is also been linked with a potential return to former club Barcelona despite an average season by his standards.
Barca have failed to find a suitable replacement for Dani Alves, who departed for Juventus last year, and this has brought Bellerin onto their focus prior to this summer's transfer window.
