Arsenal have prepared bids for Real Madrid duo Karim Benzema and Angel Di Maria. Arsene Wenger is thought to value Benzema at £40m after missing out on previous striker targets Luis Suarez and Gonzalo Higuain.
Arsenal are thought to be trying to reinforce in several areas on the pitch this summer, with the focus going to the final third of the pitch as well as the center of midfield after the injuries sustained by midfield duo Mikel Arteta and Abou Diaby.
Real Madrid are though to be reluctant to sell after the season has started but the imminent arrival of Gareth Bale could convince them to sell. Arsenal are also reported to be after Real Madrid keeper Iker Casillas.
