Transfer Rumour Round-up: July 3rd

03 July 2014 - 05:01

July 1st saw the Transfer Window re-open and numerous players swapped clubs having already made an agreement over the course of the last six months. Amongst yesterday's most noted rumours includes the potential move of Luis Suarez from Liverpool to Barcelona. Follow the rest of yesterday's rumours here.

  • Arsenal to swap Gabriel Jesus for Inter Milan star?
  • Arsenal leading race to sign Belgian midfielder

  • Southampton are expected to be busy in the transfer market this summer and newly appointed manager Ronald Koeman appears to have started the raid on his home country, signing Graziano Pelle from Feyenoord and Dusan Tadic from FC Twente.

Ross McCormack's on off move out of Leeds United looks set to go on. His club value him at around 15 million pounds, whereas the player thinks he's only worth half of that. West Ham have already missed out on the Scotsman, but expect to see several other teams continue their pursuit of the talented player.

Marouane Fellaini is not a popular man at Old Trafford. Despite his decent performances for Belgium at the World Cup, Man Utd manager Louis Van Gaal is ready to sell. Having signed Ander Herrera, United need to recoup some money and the Belgian could now be sold.

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino is ready to spend, spend, spend and his first signing will be left back Ben Davies. The Welshman will wrap up a deal to move to White Hart Lane before the end of the week. Swansea have already found their replacement, Stephen Kingsley joining the club last week.

Toni Kroos - who had been linked with Manchester United - could now be set for a mega money move to Real Madrid. The European Cup champions have money to spend and a large portion of it will be spent securing the Bayern Munich star's signing.

Speaking of Real Madrid, the Bernabeu side are also chasing Monaco forward Radamel Falcao. The Colombian international is desperate for a return to Madrid, apparently, telling his current club that he will ask his agent to push for a way out of the Ligue 1 side.

Arsenal's pursuit of Loic Remy - which if you believe Arsene Wenger, is not actually happening - seems to be drawing to a close and it looks like Remy will be a Gunner next year. Remy has been told he is free to leave QPR by manager Harry Redknapp and Gunners' manager Arsene Wenger will splash the cash to sign the forward in time for the start of the new season.
