Bayern Munich boss Carlo Ancelotti is prepared to cough up a significant sum in order to sign Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal in the summer.
The Chile international has had an outstanding season with the Gunners this term after having netted 24 goals and assisted a further 14 across all competitions.
In spite of this, the attacker has not been convinced to extend his contract beyond the summer of 2018 with the Gunners seemingly losing out on their annual top-four position.
According to The Telegraph, Ancelotti could be willing to pay up to £55m in order to lure the Chilean to the Allianz Arena in the summer.
Ancelotti has limitedly used the likes of Douglas Costa and Thomas Muller this season, and the former faces an uncertain future beyond the campaign after having publicly stated his desire to leave.
Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben are also approaching the final years of their careers, and this has urged Ancelotti to move in for Sanchez, who could form the perfect bond alongside Robert Lewandowski upfront.
Sanchez's representative has already begun negotiations with the Bavarian giants with Arsenal seemingly reluctant to offload their main man to a domestic rival.
