Predicted Chelsea lineup (4-3-3) to face Arsenal, Hazard and Willian start

18 January 2019 - 18:11

Chelsea are scheduled to face Arsenal in the weekend's Premier League clash at the Emirates Stadium. The Blues are currently six points ahead of the Gunners for the final Champions League spot and they have an excellent chance to extend the gap further on the road.

  • Mauricio Pochettino confirms fresh injury blow for Chelsea star
  • Arsenal want to make four marquee signings this summer

  • Formation: 4-3-3

    Predicted Lineup:

Kepa Arrizabalaga has been the Blues' undisputed choice between the sticks for the Premier League duties in particular and he should retain his position for the London derby.

In the defence, Maurizio Sarri has shown a reluctance to switch from the regular combination and a similar stance should witness Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso feature in the right and left-back positions with David Luiz and Antonio Rudiger occupying the heart of the backline.

Likewise in midfield, the manager is unlikely to tinker with the winning combination from the recent game against Newcastle United. In such case, Jorginho should act as the holding midfielder once more with N'Golo Kante and Mateo Kovacic featuring ahead of him.

Further forward, Alvaro Morata may have played his final game for the Blues amid the recent speculation linking him with Atletico Madrid. As such, we are fancying Eden Hazard to retain the false number nine position with Pedro and Willian flanking him either side.
