Jose Mourinho makes Harry Winks transfer decision

Mourinho won't consider Winks sale this month

Jose Mourinho makes Harry Winks transfer decision

05 January 2021 - 20:26

Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho has reportedly dismissed the possibility of Harry Winks leaving the club this month.

  • Chelsea ready to sell four home-grown players
  • Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Aston Villa, Palmer starts

  • Winks has experienced a tough season and he has turned out only seven times in the Premier League with the likes of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Moussa Sissoko favoured ahead of him in the central midfield.

However, he has recently started back-to-back games for the north London side and The Mail claims that Mourinho has no plans to offload the England international after his recent revival.

While Winks is unlikely to go anywhere, the likes of Danny Rose and Paulo Gazzaniga are expected to be shown the exit door this month. Dele Alli is another player, who has been linked with a possible January exit.

He has been linked with a reunion with ex-Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino, who was recently appointed as the manager of Paris Saint-Germain. Spurs may, however, reject any advances with Mourinho keen to keep hold of him.
