Liverpool forward Borini rules out Italy return
The agent of Fabio Borini has denied that Lazio have made an offer for his client. The Liverpool forward has been strongly linked with a return to his homeland especially with the arrival of Spain striker Iago Aspas.
Brendan Rodgers, the Liverpool manager, is hopeful that Borini will be an important member of the first team squad this year and will put pressure on first choices Danny Sturridge and Luis Suarez.
"I can confirm that Lazio sporting director Igli Tare has always been a fan of Fabio, but I have not had any contact with Lazio," said Borini's agent Marco de Marchi.
"What I can assure you is that Borini is concentrating on doing well for Liverpool to beat the competition for places in attack.
"At this moment in time he only has Liverpool in his mind. We are talking about one of the greatest clubs in the world."
