Liverpool defender Agger rules out Barcelona move

Liverpool defender Daniel Agger has told reporters that he will not be joining Barcelona. After the 1-0 victory over Stoke City at Anfield on Saturday, Agger was quizzed by reporters regarding a potential move to Spain.

Barcelona have been linked with a transfer for several new players this summer, despite Gerardo Martino confirming that signing a defender is Chelsea-Liverpool-breath-sigh-of-relief-after-Barcelona-rule-out-defensive-move.html">not one of his priorities.


"I am fully focused on what is going on here at Liverpool," Agger said.


"I do not need to comment on it. We have enough to do here. We're working very hard. My heart is still for Liverpool. It always has been. It always will be."
