Chelsea overpower brave Aston Villa
Chelsea beat Aston Villa in their second game of the season, in what was a joyous encounter full of chances between both clubs. Alberto Luna (og) and Branislav Ivanovic scored Chelsea's goals while young striker Christian Benteke scored Villa's consolation.
Seven minutes into the match, Eden Hazard's shot took a deflection off Luna and made it 1-0 to the home side, before Benteke's goal came from a pass by the brilliant Gabriel Agbonlahor. Ivanovic scored the winner after converting a Frank Lampard freekick.
Branislav Ivanovic was the center of attention moments before scoring his goal, after elbowing Benteke and only receiving a yellow card. The opponents argued he should have been sent off.
The visitors had a penalty shout turned out after John Terry appeared to handle a header by Agbonlahor.
