Arsenal legend Ray Parlour concerned by Arsenal's lack of strikers
Arsenal legend Ray Parlour had expressed his anxiety over Arsenal's lack of strikers this season.
The North London outfit failed in their pursuit of adding an experienced striker this summer, as the club's bid to sign the likes of Liverpool's Luis Suarez and Manchester United's Wayne Rooney were rebuffed by their respective clubs.
Yaya Sanogo has been the only player added to strengthen Arsenal's attack, and the ' Romford Pele' believes the Gunners could struggle if Olivier Giroud picks up an injury.
He told the Daily Star : "I'm worried about the forward line. Giroud was excellent against Spurs.
"But if he does get a niggle or get injured, then the next player that can play there is Theo Walcott because Lukas Podolski is out injured.
"They got Ozil in – great. But could they have signed a striker as well?"
