Manchester United and Chelsea monitoring Ivan Rakitic
Premier League giants Manchester United and Chelsea are reportedly tracking Sevilla captain Ivan Rakitic, with a view of making a January bid for the talented Croatian International.
The 25-year-old has been in top form for the La Liga outfit this season, having notched up seven goals from his 13 starts and those excellent statistics have alerted both David Moyes and Jose Mourinho, who have been scouting the talented midfielder in recent weeks.
According to the Jutarnji List, the Red Devils manager David Moyes has been a huge admirer of the player's talents, and will try to tempt Sevilla in letting go of their star player during the New Year, having failed in his pursuit during his managerial reign at Everton.
Ivan Rakitic joined Sevilla from Bundesliga outfit Schalke 04 in January 2011.
