Olivier Giroud signs new deal at Arsenal
French international Olivier Giroud has reportedly signed a contract extension to keep him at Arsenal until the summer of 2018.
The talented striker is currently recovering from a foot injury that he sustained during the Gunners' 2-2 draw at Everton in the Premier League last month.
According to The Mirror, the new deal will involve an improved wage structure of £80,000 per week.
Giroud becomes the latest high-profile player to seal his future at the Emirates, with the likes of Wojciech Szczesny, Tomas Rosicky, Laurent Koscielny and Per Mertesacker having inked new deals last season.
The 27-year-old is expected to return to first-team action in the New Year.
