Liverpool chasing Lucas Digne

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers will continue his transfer spending spree with a move for Paris Saint-Germain defender Lucas Digne.

The Merseyside giants are close to completing a £32.5m deal for Christian Benteke, and The Mail suggests that the Reds will step their pursuit for 22-year-old Digne once that transfer is sealed.

Digne, who is contracted with Les Parisiens until 2018, could be sold for a fee of around £9m during the summer transfer window.

Liverpool have already brought in the likes of Danny Ings, Adam Bogdan, Roberto Firmino, Nathaniel Clyne and James Milner this summer.
