Everton eye Calum Chambers as Stones replacement
Everton boss Roberto Martinez has earmarked Arsenal defender Callum Chambers as the ideal replacement, should John Stones make way in the January transfer window.
The Toffees face a uphill battle to keep hold of Stones with interest high from the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea.
According to The People, Martinez will try and lure out-of-favour Chambers to Goodison Park, if they lose the services of Stones in the New Year.
Chambers is currently the Gunners' fourth-choice centre-back behind Per Mertesacker, Laurent Koscielny, and Gabriel.
Everton sit 9th in the league standings with 23 points.
