Juventus target Christian Benteke

Liverpool striker Christian Benteke has been linked with a potential move to Juventus this summer. The Belgian is currently deemed surplus to requirements under Jurgen Klopp.

Benteke, 25, has struggled to cement a regular starting role at the Reds this season with Klopp preferring the likes of Roberto Firmino, Divock Origi and Daniel Sturridge ahead of him in the pecking order.

Italian sources suggest that the Old Lady are set to make their approach for the Belgian after it became evident that the player has no future at Anfield.

The Turin giants are also looking into deals for Everton star Romelu Lukaku and Chelsea ace Nemanja Matic.

Benteke has made just 12 league starts for the Reds this term.
