Man City hot on trail of Arsenal sensation

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has requested his scouts to keep a close eye on Arsenal full-back Hector Bellerin. The youngster has developed his game to the next level at the Emirates, and this has earned him a place with Spain for Euro 2016.

The 21-year-old was a regular fixture in the Gunners setup last season after beating the likes of Calum Chambers and Mathieu Debuchy to the right-back position.

According to The Manchester Evening News, Pep is stepping up his efforts to pursue the Spaniard, who was one of the brightest youth talents in his time at Barcelona.

The Citizens will be monitoring the player at the European championships, when he gets his chance to impress.

Bellerin appeared in 44 games for Arsene Wenger's side, chipping in a solitary goal.
