Juventus considering move for Kanté
Juventus are considering a move for Leicester City midfielder N'Golo Kanté, according to reports in Italy.
Tuttosport claims that, with the ongoing injury problems of German midfielder Sami Khedira, the Old Lady are consider a swoop to bring Kanté to Juventus Stadium.
The Italian champions have already bolstered their midfield with the addition of Miralem Pjanic from AS Roma for €32 million, but with doubts over Khedira's long term fitness, Kanté would provide an additional physicality to the centre of manager Massimiliano Allegri's midfield.
The Leicester player was outstanding last season, as the Foxes completed an incredible fairy tale title win. Kanté was voted into the Premier League team of the season, as well as being shortlisted for the PFA Player of the Year award.
Tuttosport also claim that, despite Kanté having a €25 million release clause written into his Leicester contract, the Bianconeri are unwilling to pay more than €20 million to acquire the 25-year-old.
Juve would also face stiff opposition from several of the continent's biggest clubs if Kanté decides to leave the Premier League champions. In recent months the former Caen midfielder has been linked with moves to Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Real Madrid.
Kanté is currently on international duty with France at the ongoing UEFA European Championship in France, as he hopes to help Didier Deschamps' men achieve success on home soil, and any potential transfer will likely have to wait until after Sunday's final.
