Arsenal yet to table bid for Mustafi
La Liga side Valencia have yet to receive an offer from Arsenal for German defender Shkodran Mustafi. The Gunners are on the search for a new centre-back after Per Mertesacker was ruled out with a long-term injury.
Recent reports suggested that the Gunners had enquired over the player's availability with Mertesacker having suffered a knee problem whilst on pre-season duty.
According to The Mirror, Los Che are willing to accept fees in the region of £21m which is about half of his Mustafi's escape clause (£42.2m).
However, Arsene Wenger's side are yet to comeback with an official bid despite the 24-year-old being available for bargain price.
Arsenal have been calm in the transfer market as usual, recruiting Granit Xhaka and a couple of unknowns in Takuma Asano and Rob Holding.
