Crystal Palace eye Flamini deal
Crystal Palace are considering a contract offer for former Arsenal midfielder Mathieu Flamini. The Frenchman is currently a free agent after he was released from the Gunners in June.
The 32-year-old has previously snubbed advances from Turkish clubs in a bid to prolong his stay in the Premier League.
According to The Telegraph, Alan Pardew's side have shifted their focus to the veteran midfielder after they failed to land Jack Wilshere, who opted to join Bournemouth on a season-long loan from the Gunners.
The Eagles are on the search for a replacement for Mile Jedinak following his switch to Aston Villa. and Flamini fits the bill, given his experience playing in the top flight.
AS Roma and former club AC Milan have also been credited with interest for the player.
Crystal Palace missed out on signing Everton's James McCarthy on deadline day, and this has left a place open in their squad list.
