PSG want Victor Lindelof
Paris Saint-Germain are prepared to lodge a winter approach for Benfica defender Victor Lindelof. The French champions are on the search for a new centre-back after David Luiz opted to rejoin Chelsea in the summer.
Les Parisiens are currently short in the central defensive department with Presnel Kimpembe being the sole back-up option to Thiago Silva and Marquinhos.
French source Le 10 Sport claims that the Ligue 1 holders are keeping a close eye on the Swede's progress with a view to a January offer for his services.
However, they are set to face a transfer tussle with Inter Milan, who are also willing to match Benfica's £26m valuation for the defender.
Lindelof is currently a regular in the Benfica first-team, having spent his initial years in the reserve squad. He has also earned seven caps for Sweden with his debut coming against Turkey earlier this year.
