Slaven Bilic denies Payet-Martial swap proposal
West Ham United boss Slaven Bilic has insisted that there is no 'truth' regarding the club's proposed agreement to sell Dimitri Payet to Manchester United.
Recent speculation suggested that the Hammers would be willing to offload Dimitri Payet to Old Trafford in January, should they receive Anthony Martial in exchange.
However, Bilic has dismissed the gossip in his pre-match press conference by iterating that Payet is set to stay at the London Stadium.
"I can't see any truth in that. Regarding Payet, not regarding Martial. He is a good player, a great player. But I don't see this happening," he told reporters prior to the Hull game.
West Ham United will seek to distance themselves from the relegation battle when they host fellow strugglers Hull City in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
