Crystal Palace keen on Ben Davies

Premier League strugglers Crystal Palace have expressed interest in recruiting Tottenham Hotspur full-back Ben Davies.
The 23-year-old has played second fiddle to Danny Rose for most of the campaign and has only three league games till date.
According to ESPN, Palace boss Sam Allardyce have stepped up his pursuit for the Welshman with a deal for Patrick van Aanholt looking unlikely.
Big Sam was hoping to lure his former player from Sunderland this month, but it seems that the Black Cats are determined to not lost their players in the transfer window.
Davies has also played for his nation in the back three, and his versatility is something Allardyce could favour in his squad during the backend of the campaign.
Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino has recently insisted that the club will not be looking into a replacement for the injured Jan Vertonghen, and this could see them stick with Davies for the remainder of the campaign.
Davies has appeared in over 65 games for the North London giants since arriving from Swansea City in 2014.
