Leicester City do it again

Reigning Premier League champions Leicester City have made a name for themselves for doing the unexpected, and they did it again on Tuesday night, as they overcame a 2-1 first leg deficit to progress to the quarter finals of the Champions League, beating Sevilla 3-2 on aggregate. 

The atmosphere at the King Power was electric in the build up to kick off, with the supporters hoping to witness even more memorable moments on this fantastic European journey. 

In an action packed match, the visitors started strongly, but the Leicester defence held firm. As nerves settled, the Foxes got into the game, and took the lead on the night, thanks to a close range finish from captain Wes Morgan. With the score at 1-0 at half time, Leicester were set to progress on away goals.

Nine minutes into the second half, Marc Albrighton found space in the penalty area and made the most of it, finishing powerfully to double Leicester's lead. Sevilla were forced to attack now, but their efforts were hindered, when an incident between Jamie Vardy and Samir Nasri lead to Nasri's second yellow card. 

Despite being down to ten men, Sevilla continued to attack, and with ten minutes to go, the visitors were awarded a penalty. Former Premier League midfielder Steven N'Zonzi stepped up, only to see his attempt saved by Kasper Schmeichel, the second he has saved during the duration of the tie.

Leicester held out in the dying moments, to progress to the quarter finals of this season's Champions League, maintaining Craig Shakespeare's 100 percent record in charge of the team, and creating another night that will be remembered by Leicester fans for years to come.
