Real Madrid to offer this player as makeweight for Hazard

Real Madrid are prepared to offer striker Alvaro Morata as makeweight in a proposed move for Chelsea playmaker Eden Hazard in the summer.

The Belgian attacker has been in fine touch for the Blues this campaign with his 11 goals contributing in the club's quest for their fifth Premier League title.

Los Blancos boss Zinedine Zidane alongside president Florentino Perez are said to want a new 'Galactico' signing in their ranks, and Hazard has been identified as their top option for the summer.

According to The Mirror, the European champions are willing to offer Morata in an attempt to prise away Hazard from Stamford Bridge in the coming transfer window.

Hazard has been rumoured to be house-hunting in the Spanish capital over the past month, but this appears to have no relation to his future plans after he suggested that his children are settled in England.

Meanwhile, Blues boss Antonio Conte also seems to have dropped his interest in Morata as he is well aware that any deal with Los Blancos will likely involve the future of Hazard being put into discussion.

Chelsea are currently seven points ahead of second-placed Tottenham Hotspur in the league standings, and they will have to earn a positive result against Manchester City in midweek in order to maintain the gap to their London rivals.
