West Ham fear losing another star to Marseille
West Ham United could face the prospect of losing Andre Ayew to French club Marseille, just four months after the sale of former favourite Dimitri Payet.
Payet forced his way back to Marseille for £25m last winter after he refused to take part in any game for the east London outfit.
According to The Mirror, club owner Franck McCourt has set his sights on re-signing Andre Ayew just two years after he was released on a free transfer to Swansea City.
Ayew managed to net a decent tally of six goals and three assists for the Hammers this term despite an early season injury, and Marseille are now keen to reunite him alongside Payet at Stade Velodrome.
The Ghanaian footballer is not the sole Premier League player on Marseille's radar with Arsenal pair Laurent Koscielny and Olivier Giroud and Crystal Palace's Yohan Cabaye also on their wishlist.
Ayew is currently West Ham United's record signing following his arrival from Swansea City for £20m last summer.
