Antonio Conte to quit Chelsea?

Conte mulling over his Blues position?

Chelsea could surprisingly part ways with Antonio Conte this summer with the Italian discontent with the lack of transfer activity in recent weeks.

The Blues have not made any notable signings when compared to their close rivals, and this has brought a sense of frustration for the title-winning manager.

According to The Express, the Italian boss is in a disagreement with the club's hierarchy as he wants a direct communication line with owner Roman Abramovich.

Conte is eager to recruit assistant coaches on his own following Steve Holland's departure to England, but the Blues are not willing to offer him the permission.

Meanwhile, the 47-year-old is also reluctant to end his bust-up with striker Diego Costa with whom he privately split via text message earlier in the month.

The former Juventus man was earlier tipped to ink a fresh contract beyond 2019, but this has been put to a halt with Inter Milan prepared to lure the Italian on a lucrative 10-year contract.
